During the weekend fishing trip, my friend asked me to stop writing about AI only.
First, everyone was sick of listening to AI stories a while ago, but most importantly, he mentioned that I am more than just a techie in the AI industry. Thank you, mate—you know who I meant here.
And you know, he is right. The world is much more than a current buzz or a recent popular story. This made me select a different topic for my weekly LinkedIn post.
This week, let’s speak about our human values.
None of my critical business challenges were solved with the hard skills I acquired at one of the universities I attended—all the tough ones were solved by simply adding my personality to the people-talking-to-people scenario.
We are more than just folks applying AI and preparing data governance or cloud migration projects. We have emotional intelligence. This EI differentiates us the most. It affects how we approach a discussion (the selection of a topic for the week?) and how we approach others. It affects how we energize them and generate an ambiance around ourselves where people – hopefully – love to stay.
This week, I’m working on opening this ambiance umbrella as wide as possible and welcoming all of you. Have a wonderful week!
